Equillium, Inc. is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and bringing to market products designed to address severe autoimmune and inflammatory (immuno-inflammatory) disorders where current treatment options are insufficient. The company's primary drug candidate is itolizumab (EQ001), a monoclonal antibody in clinical development that targets the novel CD6 immune checkpoint receptor. Itolizumab is currently in Phase III trials for acute graft-versus-host disease, has completed Phase Ib studies for asthma, and is also undergoing Phase Ib trials for lupus nephritis.
