United States Gasoline Fund, LP is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by United States Commodity Funds LLC. The fund invests in the commodity markets of the United States. It invests through derivatives in gasoline, other types of gasoline, crude oil, diesel-heating oil, natural gas and other petroleum-based fuels. The fund employs market neutral strategy and uses derivatives such as futures to create its portfolio. The fund seeks to track the daily changes in percentage terms of the spot price of gasoline traded on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
